Week 8 was a very slow week. Only one horse trained and ran this week and that was Andrea’s who was making her second start for the stable. After giving her a try on the dirt, which failed, she was entered into an 8.5 furlong, $7,500 claimer which turned out to be a much better fit. She challenged for the lead early and took possession of it just before the halfway point. She led through a good part of the stretch before being overtaken and finishing second by a length with a nice 98 speed. She picked up 10 BP’s, not much, but we’ll take it which boosts the total to 180. Another G-card earned gives the stable 1-F and 8-G’s.
The track record for Thechallenge2 stable has not been good, but on the improve as the initial poor start-up horses have been replaced with better options. The stable has a record of 4-1-4 in 25 starts. No changes were made during the week and we’ll have several horses this week entered into races.
