monsuning                        wyndaway10 barn              a jolly                        14/1

This three year old son of Intello has two wins in nine career starts but has not fared well in his previous Graded Stakes starts having finished out of the money in all four of those starts. He seems to be searching for a distance that suits him best and hopes to reach 100 speed here today as he tries this distance for the first time. He looks to be overmatched here and probably won’t be a factor.

saxon warrior                     kingswood barn                 a rolling                    3/1

This three year old son of Dubawi has finished in the money in seven of his nine career starts including a streak of five consecutive wins with three at this distance. He makes the jump to Graded Stakes for the first time here today but his recent big speed makes me believe he is ready and he could be a nice pick.

flame over it                       henryseego barn               r zombie                   7/1

This three year old son of Flame Thrower enters the twenty-fourth race of his young career here today. He has three wins in eight starts this year with the last coming at an allowance race back in April.  He enters his first Graded Stakes race on just three weeks rest and will need his absolute best to have any chance of hitting the board.

drasticdesperation           taker barn                            k bortz                      10/1

This three year old son of Henny Hughes has been very busy this season with eight starts already in the first five months. He got off to a nice start in his career with back to back wins both at five furlongs but since has raced at eight furlongs or greater in all of his next twelve starts. A nice long rest may serve him well and his lack of rest will probably affect his performance here today.

impact major                      deeprock0 barn                 k ledwith                  10/1

This three year old son of Magician had back to back wins to begin his career including a win at the Grade 2 “Nationwide Stakes”. Since then he has competed exclusively at Grade 1 and has failed to finish in the money in his last four starts with his last being a seventh place finish.  He seems to perform best at races less than eight furlongs and might continue his struggles here today at this distance and against this competitive field.

sea of flames                      murray2 barn                     k murray                   5/1

This three year old son of Sea the Stars comes in off an impressive win at the Grade 3 “The Crown Roys” where he posted a career best 105 speed. He has performed well at previous Graded Stakes with a third place finish at Grade 1 and another Grade 3 win when he took home the “Looking Forward Stakes”. He comes in very well rested and should go off as one of the favorites out of the six

street say                            waiting barn                       t ace                           9/2

This three year old son of Adlerflug had a win last time out at the “Ollies Gone Route Stakes” where he posted his first speed over one hundred with an impressive 110. He makes his first start at Grade 2 here today and his first at this distance. His previous starts should set him up nicely though and he could be a nice surprise out of the seven hole.

saddle wenty                      maxy barn                            f gossett                  5/1

This three year old son of Manduro had a nice win last time out at the Grade 3 “The Goodyear Stakes” back in April. He finished up his two year old season with three straight wins and made the big jump to Grade 1 to begin this year but finished a disappointing eighth. He has been trending up since that race and posted nice speed last time out that should help him compete here today.

indian drop duck               duckman55 barn               d esperado              5/1

This three year old son of little used sire Indian Evening has five wins and five runner ups in fourteen career starts. He had a nice second place finish at the Grade 2 “The Golden Rose” but followed that up on little rest with a twelfth place finish at this distance at the “South African Classic”. He will fare better here today and should be a force to reckon with against this field.
