Post 1 – EXTREME ROCK
Odds – 14/1
Owner – crawf682
Pedigree – EXTREME CHOICE (AUS) x FASTNET ROCK (AUS) x SNIPPETS

EXTREME ROCK is the 2nd foal out of ABATTOIR BLUES. This bay colt trained by crawf68 broke his maiden in his 2nd career start. He then faced allowance foes in his next 2 races before winning the Gentle Giant Turf Juvenile and Roo Beavis Turf Special back to back. His next races were at the G3 level where his speeds improved and he did pick up a GP badge. His top speed rating is 101.

Post 2 – DISHWASHER
Odds – 5/1
Owner – pwong01
Pedigree – MSHAWISH x RAIL LINK (GB) x GIANT’S CAUSEWAY

DISHWASHER is the 6th foal out of the graded stakes placed mare Railways (2 G3 winners). This pwong01 trained colt started his career with 2 ITM finishes on the dirt. He was then switched to turf and picked up a maiden and allowance win. He then tried the stakes level for his next 3 starts (G2, G3 and listed) picking up 2 ITM finishes. His switch back to the dirt resulted in the 1st of his 2 G3 wins in the G3 – The Cornstalk. His 2nd came 3 races later in the G3 – The Dubai 2000 Guineas. He tried dirt 2 more times and picked up a 3rd in the G3 – Bluegrass Derby Trial Stakes. Top speed rating is 105 (dirt).

Post 3 – THINX
Odds – 12/1
Owner – motormouth
Pedigree – TEOFILO x STREET SENSE x UNBRIDLED’S SONG

THINX is the first foal out of the stakes placed mare SINATRA NOSTALGIA. This lightly raced anothercrick trainee broke his maiden on his 3rd start kicking off a string of 4 consecutive wins including the G3 – The Condo For Rent and the Mat Jodie Turf Memorial. It appears he wanted no part of his last race going 10 furlongs as he was near the front but when asked to finish, he uncharacteristically packed it in. Today’s distance might suit him better.

Post 4 – DARKAPICAL
Odds – 29/1
Owner – windsong92
Pedigree – KINGSBARNS x JOHANNESBURG x SWAIN

DARKAPICAL is the 6th foal out of the graded stakes placed mare CUP OF COCOA. This colt is trained by lightng99. He broke his maiden in his 2nd start. Since that win he has tried stakes and graded stakes company 6 times with a 2nd place finish coming in the Confederacy Turf Route at 9 furlongs. His top speed rating of 92 seems a little light for this field.

Post 5 – BEATSBOX
Odds – 25/1
Owner – callie
Pedigree – YEATS x DUBAWI (IRE) x SUNDAY SILENCE

BEATSBOX is the 5th foal out of NONALASS (2 GP runners). This callie trained colt broke his maiden 2nd out. He struggled in his next 3 races before hitting the winners circle at the allowance nw1x level and and in the Brababroad Turf Special. His last race was in a G3 where his late kick failed to make up ground in the stretch. Top speed rating is 97.

Post 6 – HEW’S BANE
Odds – 6/1
Owner – lenny24
Pedigree – GIANT’S CAUSEWAY x MEDAGLIA D’ORO x NEW APPROACH (IRE)

HEW’S BANE is the 2nd foal out of the graded stakes placed mare COLTRANEWRECK (2 stakes winners). This lightly raced colt is trained by lenny271. He broke his maiden first out. His next 4 starts were against allowance foes and he picked up 2 wins and 2 runner up finishes. His first attempt in stakes company was a winning one taking the Debees Belief Turf Route. His lone G1 attempt resulted in a 6th place finish at 10 furlongs. Turning back in distance here could make him a solid contender. His top speed rating is 103.

Post 7 – HIGH ENERGY SON
Odds – 11/1
Owner – graywolf18
Pedigree – CAMELOT (GB) x DISTORTED HUMOR x STORM BIRD

HIGH ENERGY SON is the 9th foal out of FYAH. graywolf6 trains this colt. He picked up his first win in his second start versus IRE bred allowance nw3l foes. He split his next 4 races (1 G1 and a listed stake) between turf and dirt where he was forwardly placed and faded in the stretch. His next 2 races resulted in wire to wire wins vs allowance horses. His last 2 resulted in more early pace and fade in the stretch vs graded company. His top speed is 98.

Post 8 – TOO MUCH KITTY
Odds – 5/1
Owner – pbcash1
Pedigree – KITTEN’S JOY x STREET CRY x DYNAFORMER

TOO MUCH KITTY is out of the G3 winning hemare TOO MUCH SATURDAY. This colt is another trained by lenny271. He broke his maiden in his 2nd race. His last race was in an open allowance where he posted his best speed rating of 108 taking top honors.

Post 9 – GIANT MAGIC SHAFT
Odds – 20/1
Owner – dunnhill
Pedigree – GIANT’S CAUSEWAY x TIZWAY x ZENSATIONAL

GIANT MAGIC SHAFT is the 1st foal out of the G1 winning mare TIA MY MAGIC SHAFT. He is trained by slipery1. This colt started his career on dirt breaking his maiden in his 2nd start. He was kept out of the winners circle in his next 5 starts before taking the Rockin Pneumonia Turf Juvenile. He backed up that win with another in the Danzigs War Turf Mile. He finished in the front half of the field in the G3 Czeth 2000 Guineas before being badly beaten in the 12 furlong G1 – Sydney Derby. Turns back to 8 furlongs for this one. May be in a little tough here. Top speed rating is 98.

Post 10 – GREY BLITZ
Odds – 23/1
Owner – aguadeep1
Pedigree – AMBER GREY (IRE) x STORMY ATLANTIC x DUBAI MILLENNIUM

GREY BLITZ is the 3rd foal out of SAND BLITZ. This colt is trained by
lightng99. He broke his maiden in his second stat. He has had limited success in his last 8 starts with 4 ITM finishes. He tries 8 furlongs here for the 2nd time in his career. He was beaten by 10 ½ lengths in his lone start at a mile in the G3 Cornwall Stakes. His top speed of 93 seems a little lacking for this field.

Post 11 – ALASROKE D
Odds – 5/1
Owner – nknowlton6
Pedigree – STORM OF GOSHEN x SMART STRIKE x DEPUTY MINISTER

ALASROKE D is the 5th foal out of stakes winning mare STRIKING LADY (3 stakes winners). Trained by knowlton, this colt has finished in the money in every race. Won his first 2 starts (maiden and allowance nw1x). It would take him 4 races before he saw the winner’s circle again in the 8.5-furlong Andreas Light Turf Juvenile. He backed that win up with another in the St. Jason Turf Mile before just missing in the Alyfoo Deed Turf Route. He had his picture taken again after winning the Salamambo Turf Route. His last start was in the G3 – The Doctor Is In Memorial where he ran well finishing 3rd. His speed figures have been 101, 101 and 103 in his last 3 starts.

Post 12 – SHALINKLE
Odds – 15/1
Owner – aussikid
Pedigree – SHALAA (IRE) x ROCKPORT HARBOR x RIP VAN WINKLE (IRE)

SHALINKLE is the 3rd foal out of WINGS OF JOY (1 stakes winner). He is trained by lightng99. He broke his maiden in his first start. Winless in 9 starts versus stakes and graded stakes fields showing 3 ITM finishes in graded company. He has routed 3 times in his career and his closest finish is being beaten by 9 ½ lengths. WESLEY’S WAY is the first foal out of the graded stakes placed CAUGHT DREAMIN’.
