Post 1 – CRAFTY MAJOR – 9/2

CRAFTY MAJOR is sired by DAIWA MAJOR x MASTERCRAFTSMAN (IRE) and is running for the kingscourt stable.  CRAFTY MAJOR has won in 7 times in 24 starts for a 29% win rate and has a solid shot to finish among the leaders in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 112.4 (7)
12 Month Average Speed: 108 (7)
12 Month Form: 04431

With this being CRAFTY MAJOR’s 25th career race he will be looking to prove he still has the speed to keep up with the fastest milers in the game.  He will need to pull from his career bests to have a shot, however an allowance victory in his last outing saw him post near career highs an leaves hope that he has a few more good races left.

Post 2 – VISTIENT – 7/1

VISTIENT is sired by KRIS’S VISTA x SADLER’S WELLS and is running for the lgbost stable.  VISTIENT has won in 8 times in 17 starts for a 47% win rate and has a solid shot to finish among the leaders in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 114.3 (6)
12 Month Average Speed: 106.5 (8)
12 Month Form: 22212

VISTIENT was claimed in a 100K sprint back in June, and his new trainer appears to have struck gold after stretching him out into a local stakes victory first time out in his new colours.  Now comes the big question as to whether VISTIENT can make the jump from claimer to Graded Champion, he’s not a favourite in this field but he’s doesn’t need much more to catch the leaders.

Post 3 – WIFI GIZMO – 19/1

WIFI GIZMO is sired by DANSILI (GB) x NUREYEV and is running for the ajerkens stable.  WIFI GIZMO has won in 5 times in 19 starts for a 26% win rate and is a long shot in todays race, likely to finish towards the back.

12 Month Top Speed: 108.4 (9)
12 Month Average Speed: 95.9 (9)
12 Month Form: 75310

WIFI GIZMO has had a solid allowance career, and after putting up a career high speed in his fifth victory he was pointed straight into the graded stakes.  Unfortunately that may have been too much too soon as WIFI GIZMO took a step back finishing 10th of 14 in ‘The King’s Play’ (G2), he may need a chance at the local or open stakes ranks to get his feet back under him if it doesn’t pan out today.

Post 4 – INGENIOUS WAKANDA – 6/1

INGENIOUS WAKANDA is sired by STORMY ATLANTIC x KINGMAMBO and is running for the tarton13 stable.  INGENIOUS WAKANDA has won in 5 times in 14 starts for a 36% win rate and has a solid shot to finish among the leaders in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 112.1 (8)
12 Month Average Speed: 108.2 (6)
12 Month Form: 56813

INGENIOUS WAKANDA has posted a respectable stakes career with 3 stakes victories so far, including a win at the ‘Dat Boi Whaddup Stakes’ in July.  This will be his third attempt to make the jump to graded fields, and he has shown he can compete at this level with a 4th place finish at the ‘Penn Mile’ as a 3yo, however it would take a career high for INGENIOUS WAKANDA to finish at the front.

Post 5 – EXCHANGE DIALOUGE – 4/1

EXCHANGE DIALOUGE is sired by KITTEN’S JOY x GIANT’S CAUSEWAY and is running for the ydracing25 stable.  EXCHANGE DIALOUGE has won in 8 times in 21 starts for a 38% win rate and has a solid shot to finish among the leaders in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 115.3 (5)
12 Month Average Speed: 109.1 (3)
12 Month Form: 14141

EXCHANGE DIALOUGE came to the ‘DINGO333 Racing Group’ after he was placed in a $7500 claimer following some troubles hitting the board as a 3yo in the allowance races.  Following the claim he has been nicknamed ‘Dingo’s Drake’ as he literally started from the bottom… and now he’s here as the odds on favourite in his graded debut.  This field has horses who have posted higher speeds than EXCHANGE DIALOUGE, but his trainer is confident that he is ready to live up to the oddsmakers prediction, expect to see EXCHANGE DIALOUGE break to the lead, and a wire-to-wire finish would not be a surprise.

Post 6 – FB SHACK – 6/1

FB SHACK is sired by SHACKLEFORD x DYNAFORMER and is running for the tagster stable.  FB SHACK has won in 7 times in 16 starts for a 44% win rate and is a favourite to finish at the front in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 121.2 (1)
12 Month Average Speed: 108.3 (5)
12 Month Form: 12611

FB SHACK will be making his stakes debut following back to back wins, including a claims victory where he posted a field high speed of 121.  If he can replicate that race, there is no question he should come out victorious.  The only question mark for FB SHACK is whether he can handle the added pressures of the graded stakes competition.

Post 7 – MORE THAN MAJOR – 6/1

MORE THAN MAJOR is sired by MORE THAN READY x DAIWA MAJOR and is running for the dkstables37 stable.  MORE THAN MAJOR has won in 3 times in 17 starts for a 18% win rate and is a favourite to finish at the front in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 116.2 (2)
12 Month Average Speed: 109.4 (2)
12 Month Form: 52077

MORE THAN MAJOR is coming in with the most graded experience in the field, and will be looking to finally take his place in the winners circle.  He has stumbled recently falling out of the top pack in his last three graded races, however if he can rebound to the form that placed him second at ‘The Bourbon Mile’ (G2) in April then this should be as good of an opportunity as he will ever get to take his first graded victory in a field with limited  graded experience.

Post 8 – BIGGERSTAFF – 9/2

BIGGERSTAFF is sired by EMPIRE MAKER x SADLER’S WELLS and is running for the padrebri12 stable.  BIGGERSTAFF has won in 8 times in 25 starts for a 32% win rate and is a favourite to finish at the front in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 115.4 (4)
12 Month Average Speed: 109.8 (1)
12 Month Form: 17182

BIGGERSTAFF has a solid resume of success at the allowance ranks, and after a career best speed in his last outing he has been directed into his second career stakes race.  Although he has only one stakes run under his belt, he does come in with the highest average speed figures.  Now he eeds to prove that he can keep his speeds up when competing against the best in the stakes ranks.

Post 9 – LORD KITCHENER – 8/1

LORD KITCHENER is sired by WAR FRONT x AWESOME AGAIN and is running for the buffy5 stable.  LORD KITCHENER has won in 4 times in 15 starts for a 27% win rate and has a solid shot to finish among the leaders in todays race.

12 Month Top Speed: 116 (3)
12 Month Average Speed: 108.8 (4)
12 Month Form: 13412

LORD KITCHENER made his stakes debut in his last outing, where he only missed out by a head.  He will be looking to prove that that was not a fluke, with a strong performance.  One major unknown for LORD KITCHENER is that he has had most of his success on the dirt track, it will be interesting to see how he reacts to the move back to turf.
