Special Horses

Hi all, first of all I'd like to say what a great game this is. I think we need to be very thankful to all the people that make it possible for us to enjoy this game for free. I have been playing since late 2004 and being a horse lover got hooked on it straight away. I was lucky that when I started playing I got some nice horses to get me going. My stable would have not being the same if I didn't have these horses to keep the money going.

The first horse I want to talk about is Bold Tiger she is as honest as they come, even if she never had a better speed rating than 75 she always seemed to be in the money at the end of the race. After winning she only placed one more time but for a horse that never was going to be a star she helped out by bringing the money and bp points.

I also got a horse called Little Baby Lad who was a 2yo when I got him. The only thing I can say about this horse is that he always kept me guessing but always did his best to finish in the money.

This horse i rate very highly because she was my best earning horse in that time and got me lots of bp points. Honkey Tonk Lumber is her name and although her best speed was 69 she managed to be in the money 24 out of 34 starts for me. I was pretty new to the game when I got her I think if I knew how to race her she might have been able to achive more.

The last horse I want to talk about is Always Around. I brought her for $1 dollar back in August 2005 as a 3 year old. She had 11 starts for 2 seconds and 2 thirds and was running in maiden claiming races. I always knew she was not a claimer and she proved that to me because every race I would put her in she would finish in the money and never seems to give in. I am still racing her but as she is 6 years old now and I raced her so much in her early years she seems to be slowing down.

I guess to sum up things we all have those horses who we will always remember and miss. It's really a great game to be involved in and good luck to everyone.

Cheers Dan (Hpower1)
