EWC SIRE SHOWCASE FINAL

AND HORSE GIVE AWAY!!
As I previously reported, the EWC Residency held its first leg of the first running of The EWC Sire Showcase this past weekend (week 4246). A 2-race series for 2yos with an EWC Track Tag (FL, LA, AK, OH, IN, MI, OR, CAN, OK, ENG, GB, WI, SD, JPN, KSA, RI, DC, KOR, GRE). The first leg being run on the dirt, the second over the turf, and both to be run at North Florida. What wasn't reported previously was that, due to what I swear was a computer glich, the EWC Residency ended up with 2 races: one at the aforementioned NF and an extra one at CA!! So we ran 2 heats, with the following results and scoring:

The winner of the SHOWCASE contest will be the stable with the most accumulated points over both legs. You may be asking yourself, why bother? The Prize is the choice of two 2yos (see EWC home page), unless a stable wins both legs - when they will receive both horses!! If either 2yo is left over, it will be raffled off to any new stable joining the EWC Residency, during the 5 week contest period (week 4246-4281).
Another facet of the contest is that any horse who ran in either of the first 2 legs, will be eligible for the first running of The SIRE SHOWCASE STAKES, to be run in late September at North Florida. So if you would like to compete in contests and would like to meet other like minded people, it is not too late to join us at EWC!!
