Eight will try and bluff a win
RACE: The MINE BLUFFS Special 4yo & up on Dirt over 1100m
Welcome everyone to Hong Kong the country of the horse. We have a great day of racing today, but we will focus on the Mine Bluffs Special race number 12 of the day.
Let’s take a closer look at the field and try and find the winner.

This five year old horse is coming of a win in The THUNDER N' RAINBOWS Memorial over 1300m with a speed of 102. Has been racing in stakes and graded races lately, but it is his first time over the distance. Has raced twice on this track with no results, but maybe the change in jockey may help. Is most likely to run from the front and should be in the finish.

First thing you can say about this four year old is he’s got form. Has never finished worse than fifth and has a lot of wins on this distance. Won his last race in The RED RIVER STAR Memorial over 1000m with a speed of 103. The only question mark hanging above his head is can he win another stakes race and make it back to back stakes wins. Should be hard to beat.

Five year old horse who just lost by a nose in The CAT STRUT Special over 1300m with a speed of 107. Has got great form but hasn’t been racing in difficult races. Has a first and a third at this track, but I think a place is his best hope.

The long shot of the race. Finished third last time out in The SIX CAP Challenge over 1100m with a speed of 98. Will have to produce something special to get up here, but wouldn’t count him out.

Another one with big odds finished last in The MORE BANK Stakes over 1200m with a speed of 92. Has had two failed attempts at stakes level and I believe this will be no different.

This is the favourite and in some fine form. Won his last race in open allowance over 1300m with a speed of 107. Is stepping up in class but nothing new for him. Is a very fast horse and should win this.

The second favourite and our oldest horse at six years old. Finished second last start in an open allowance over 1400m with a speed of 104. Has the ability to win this one but only time will tell. I think this may be a bit too short for him.

What can I say about this runner? Well simply he’s out of form and is looking to find it here today. Finished eight last start in Nasty n' Bold Handicap over 1200m with a speed of 92 with seven and a quarter lengths behind the winner. No luck in stakes company and I think he will struggle here as well.
Well there we have it, our eight runners any one of them capable of winning this.
